Our old meeting room on 9th Avenue, where we've held meetings for years, has been demolished and a new building is underway. The building permit application has been filed by Hawk Lee, SHARP's architect. Now we will begin working out the details with the City, hoping to push it through.

As of June 9th, our project has passed the Planning Department! The Dept. of Building Inspection is now reviewing the particulars. This is a very positive step and we are moving along in good form.

Our new plan looks like all the other two unit buildings in the area with small "penthouses".... The room and bath on the ground floor will be reserved for SHARP's community meeting space.

Thank you..

John Barry,
Building Committee.
